The Function Xylem Tissue In Plant

Objective
Student are able Identify xylem tissue in plant

Devices and Materials
a. Beaker
b. Coloured Solution
c. Stem of Celery

Work Proceduring
Step 1 : Place a celery stem, with it’s leaves intact. In a beaker of coloured water as in figure.
Step 2 : Place a second stem of about the same weight, But with all it’s leaves removed, in another of coloured water.
Step 3 : After 20 minutes, remove both stalks and cut the stens at reguler intervals to see how far the coloured water had risen.

Experiment
My Experiment Same With Work Proceduring.

The Result of Experiment
Failed, Because Liquids redness and Not Too little too Red, So when dipped Into Celery colored water but not too red Red Xylem and Phloem then its also not red, but redness eg Water colored Red Xylem and Phloem Once And it also is red.


Conclution

Xylem has function to transport water and mineral salt that solves from root to leaves.
